Kimon Kokorogiannis undertook the representation of Stavros Tziortziopoulos in 2002 and made his transfer from Olympiakos to Akratitos.
The player was transferred the next year to Panionios.
Especially in Panionios he established as a starter and played in the UEFA Cup. Maturity and good appearances brought his transfer in AEK in which he played for three seasons.
He was considered as one of the best left foot defenders but an injury halted his development. In the summer of 2007 had a brief pass from Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus until January 2008. In January 2008 he moved to Xanthi, where he stayed for 2.5 years and was released in May 2010. In September of that year he signed a one-year contract with Panthrakikos and the next 2 seasons he played for A.E.L. Kalloni and Panthrakikos.
