Kimon Kokorogiannis in 2005 undertook Rafik Djebbour who then played with the shirt of Ethnikos Asteras.
In January of 2006 he was transferred to Atromitos, who was then playing in Super Leaugue, and in January 2007 to Panionios where he was an offensive key asset for the team and top scorer with 7 goals in the first 8 games of the 2007-08 championship.
In August 2008 he was transferred to AEK. In 2006 was his first National call to compete with the Algerian National Team. In 2008, after a very good career in the Greek league, was called back by the Federal manager of the country on March 26 in Algeria vs Congo match. This successful partnership lasted until 2009.
