In the summer of 2008 the collaboration of Ilias Anastasakos with Kimonas began. The player was playing for Thrasyboulos in the Second National Division where
he won the promotion to the First Division having placed as first scorer with 18 goals.
The same summer he signs with PAOK and he makes a great year scoring 8 goals in the league and play offs. In the summer of 2009 he participates with PAOK in the Europa League qualifiers and then he moves to Atromitos where he stays for 3 years scoring 17 times.
Over the next two seasons he is playing in Crete, where for the period 2012-13 he is the protagonist in the historic first time of Platanias Chania in Superleague, completing the season as the top scorer with 9 goals. Next year he moves to Ergotelis and he starts the 2014-15 period in Larissa. Since January 2015 he is relocated in his hometown of Sparta, enhancing local AE Spartis in their attempt to get the promotion to the 3rd National Division.
