Ανδρέας Τάτος

Andreas Tatos

In 2004, Kimon Kokoroyiannis undertakes the promotion of Andrea Tatos and transfers him to Asteras Tripolis (D National Division). The next year (2005-06) is transferred toPanahaiki. The 2006-2008 season plays with the team of Haidari and the young player was recognized as one of the most gifted emerging Greek players. Thanks to the remarkable performances he made at Haidari was the apple of discord between AEK Panionios and Xanthi, while in the game of his acquisition could not be clearly missing neither Panathinaikos nor Olympiacos. Finally in 2008 ended in Atromitos where he played a leading role on the efforts to returnto the salons of the Super League, having a great year.

Over the next three years Tatos was the natural leader of Atromitos, leading the team to 2 cup finals and gaining his call to the Greek National team.

In the summer of 2011 Olympiacos buys Tatos and agrees to let him on loan for another year to Atromitos. From various bad circumstances he didn’t manage to be exploited by Olympiacos. Thereafter, he played on loan to Aris during the 2nd half of the 2012-13 season when he helped greatly to keep the historic team of Thessaloniki in Superleague. In that year he was voted as the best Greek player.

The 2013-14 season he played again on loan for Aris and he was one of the few that “floated”  in a very bad year for the group. In the summer of 2014 Atromitos buys Tatos from Olympiakos in order him to become again the leader of the group. The Portuguese coach Sa Pinto didn’t have the same opinion, holding him away from the continuous games. As a result , in January 2015 Veria acquires with transfer the player for the next 2 and a half years.
